Brendan Balestrieri is a Professor of Practice in the School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University, where he teaches Comparative Homeland Security and International Conflict and Security. His research interests include alliances, homeland security, military reserve forces, and North-South Korea relations. A lieutenant colonel in the United States Army Reserve, he has over 18 years of experience serving with the United States military, mostly overseas.
